Scheduling Employees Version 4.0
The much anticipated release of Scheduling Employees Version 4.0 is coming up within a few weeks.  We are in the process of adding the last bit of functionality- email capability, then we are on to the testing phase before the official release.  If you have any questions regarding this release, please feel free to post here.

We really like the scheduling program!  However, will it be possible to work on the schedule on a monthly basis instead of a weekly basis?  I would like to see the entire month laid out at one time.

We're glad you like the program!
 
Because of the large amount of data that is displayed on the Main Editor screen, it would be very difficult to show an entire month's schedule at one time.  In Scheduling Employees version 4.0, you will be able to see a report of entire month's schedule (or whatever date range you wish), but if you want to make changes, they will have to be done on a weekly basis via the Main Editor. 
 
Have you ever taken a look at Employee Scheduling Assistant?  The schedule is displayed on a monthly basis, but instead of clicking and dragging a time bar, you would create abbreviations for shifts that you would insert into grids.  Here is the link to Employee Scheduling Assistant's product description: http://workschedules.com/Store/Product/Employee_Scheduling_Assistant.aspx

We've had a quite a few people ask about pricing for version 4.0.  A Single License Copy of Scheduling Employees 4.0 will be $149.99.  A Site License Copy of Scheduling Employees 4.0 will be $265.99.   These prices are subject to change.
 
For current customers, we will offer a significant discount to upgrade to 4.0, for a limited amount of time.  Details to come soon!

first if i buy the curreent version now will i get a upgrade when version 4 gets launched
 
also would it be posible to put the holidays in hours not mark a whole day as holiday as holiday as my staff take half a day off etc ad it would be very helpfull when running my payroll if i had not just the hours worked but the holiday hours taken as well.

For those customers who have purchased Scheduling Employees within the 12 months prior to the release, we will offer via email a discount coupon code entitling them to the difference in price from the old version to the new version.  Please make sure that your email address is current.
 
For those who purchased Scheduling Employees more than 12 months prior to the release, you will also receive a discount code (amount yet to be determined) for a limited amount of time.
 
In regards to holidays, unfortunately partial or hourly allotment of holiday time will not available in 4.0, but I will look into it to see if it is feasible for future updates.
