Shareware is not FREE software.
Shareware, sometimes called
trial software is a marketing method that allows you to try
software before you pay for it. All of our software
is fully functional. All our programs will give you a
minimum of 30 days to evaluate the program and will remind
you how many days you have left before you need to be
registered. After the trial period, the software will no
longer function unless registered.
Pledge:
All our applications are free of Spyware and Adware.
Do I have to register?
No! If you decide that you do not want to use the program, go to the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel and remove the software. If you continue to use the program after the evaluation period you are obligated to register the program by paying the registration fee. The code that you get to unlock the software for a single copy or on all workstations at one mailing address in case of a "Site license" will remove any references to shareware when you are using the application.
Distributing software as shareware is going to be the wave of the future. The days that you buy software and are stuck with your selection will be gone soon, now customers can try out their software before committing themselves.

ASP
Guia International has been a member supporting the Association of Shareware Professionals since 1991.
The Association of Shareware Professionals was formed in April 1987 to strengthen the future of shareware (user supported software) as an alternative to commercial software. Its members, all of whom subscribe to a code of ethics, are committed to the concept of shareware as a method of marketing.
The ASP's Mission Statement:
- To inform users about shareware programs and about shareware as a method of distributing and marketing software;
- To encourage broader distribution of shareware through organizations who agree to identify and explain the nature of shareware;
- To assist members in marketing their software;
- To provide a forum through which ASP members may communicate, share ideas, and learn from each other; and
- To foster a high degree of professionalism among shareware authors by setting programming, marketing and support standards for ASP members to follow.
